Yes Its A Total Bummer But As Bad As It Sounds Nothing Will Help, I Feel As It Makes It Worst WHEN You Try To Talk Or Help Them Out, They Will Not Stop Until They Are Ready To Leave It Behind On There Own.
@b.smith82815, I’m so sorry I have a mom who won’t stop either We have tried rehab many times ,talking to her,helping her as much support we can but it’s ultimately her choice it hurts so bad :,( 💔

It’s a disease 😢 so unfortunately it’s more than just a “choice “ for them... It is often unlikely that they will stop 😭 it then up to you to stay or go 😭 both of my parents went through AA and haven’t drank in over thirty years. There is NO exception. They need to cut it completely and never go back
