Sis is going to be pissed though, hubby said she is not moving with us and that it’s not up for debate. Even though we could up her rent because she would have most of the down stairs to herself and have her own bathroom. SO I may be able to talk him into that... We will have to see.
The laundry is down stairs, so I’ll get a work out!!!! But it already has a built in dog door!!!!!! A green potential green room/ craft room. Game room!!!!
OMG... I’m just talking myself into this house more!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents aren’t excited about it, but I’m in absolute love, other than the tiny bathroom. LOL

I hate when close family try to be Debbie downers! I'm excited for you and I don't even know you! Lol! I can't wait to be say this soon! We will be starting house hunting here in a couple months!!.

@m.hks_, Thank you! My brother has caught constant shit because they bought a house and didn’t tell any of the family till after they closed the sale. It’s been almost 3 years, and they are still getting shit.
Definitely look at stuff right now and figure out what you are wiling to compromise on and things that you won’t budge on. Hubby HAS to have a shop, that’s a no go if the place doesn’t have a shop. I have to have a craft room or room in the yard to build a craft shack.

@sadiesue0718, 🙄 that's because they don't really have anything to say, they're just finding reasons to be pissed.
We just closed on our house last month, and that's all my fiancé's family keep saying to him...that it's the wrong house, we'd regret it. They just want him to move back, so they wouldn't be happy with any house unless it was where they want it to be.

@nomli, yup, my parents are out in the middle of no where and they are fine with it.
Nana didn't go bc she had such a shit fit about the last one, that was nicer inside than this one, but the outside was yellow..... so I got pissy with her and she called my mom and complained, then mom called me and told me to apologize for getting pissed that I was being nagged and bitched at........ explain that logic!
So, now we have done my moms side, we still have dad's side then both husbands parents.... his family should be more supportive though bc he is a great provider and the only son, and the favorite, and can't do shot wrong. LOL so I'm expecting a better reaction from them.

Haha. At least someone will be happy for you! (I am, but random internet people usually aren't as important as family.)
My dad and stepmother were happy, mainly because the place we chose wasn't hours away like where we had been looking previously. His family is all in the middle of nowhere, too, and recently with the wind chill it's been -40°. Sorry, nope, no thank you!
Our house has laundry in the basement, and the bedrooms are on the second floor, so I get lots of exercise too! We just ordered curtains for the windows and hope to paint soon. We had to have looked at over 30 houses before we agreed on one that we both really liked.

I am planing on putting in a laundry chute for sure, and redoing the bathroom! LOL but other than that, some trim, paint, and curtains. Which I can do all those things, not hubby, but me! LOL I’m half way handy! LOL
