For all Mommies who already have kids, what is your best breast feeding advice or tips??!
Skin to skin
Latch is important don’t be afraid to squish that nipple down and get it into your babies mouth. My Lil girl did not latch easily.
Champ nipples will happen use your breast milk to heal cuts faster than nipple balm let air dry.
Best way to increase supply is feeding your baby especially during growth spurts. It tells your body that you need to make more for baby. Massaging helps during let down. Buy washable nursing pads it will save you money. Don’t pump at the beginning it will just put you in a panic that your not making enough. It’s normal for babies to drop some weight in the beginning. My lil girl wanted to sleep more than eat the first couple of weeks. Any other questions send me a message. I did a lot of research that my own Lactation consultant told me she can’t teach me anything I didn’t already know haha
Nipple balm was a life saver for my boobies!. And latching baby on frequently helps so much
It! Will! Hurt! For many many weeks! Nobody told me and oohhhmmyyygoossshhh i actually dreaded the thought of feeding every two hours, i cried each and every time for 8 weeks. But if you really really wanna breast feed, do not give up. The pain goes away. Try your best to get baby to latch, theres more positions than just holding the baby in front of you. Get a lactation consultant the day you deliver if you can, they help a lot
