scared about getting induced early.. i want my baby to cook as long as possible😩 but i guess doctor…

@theinkedmommy, i have high blood pressure & my doctor is very cautious. my mom had a baby that passed away for unknown reasons & so he has been monitoring my pregnancy very close. i’ll be 38 weeks or close to it which he considers full term, ive just heard it’s a lot better for the baby to stay in the full 40

Don't worry yourself hun! I was induced with my first for preeclampsia at 37wks on the dot, she was 6lbs 9oz and so healthy we were only there for 1 day! My second daughter was induced 37wks 1 day and she's 7lbs 4oz and perfectly healthy! She's jaundice which alot of babies born early have, and they are getting that under control then we are going home! I know the feeling of wanting the baby to be in as long as can be, but at the end of 37 weeks he will be fine I promise ❤❤ don't stress and get your blood pressure going!

@sarab.estrada, yes I think they’re scared of me getting it, I’ve been having some symptoms of it

@kartersmommyy, I really wanted to carry my son to 40 weeks but then I went to my 37 week appt and they didn’t like that I had protein in my urine and my blood pressure was high so I was monitored and had labs done. they told me I had preeclampsia and I was going to be induced right then I was sad and nervous.

@sarab.estrada, I guess it was better for both you and your baby to be induced early because of preeclampsia, that was the best choice. But it is a little sad not being able to carry your baby the whole way.. but whatever is best for the baby! that’s what I’m trying to keep in my head to not be too sad lol

@kartersmommyy, yeah that’s what I kept telling myself that it was what was best for us.

I was induced at 36 weeks due to having a partial placental abruption at 29 weeks. They took him as early as they could while allowing us to get him all the things he'd need like steroid shots etc. He was born 5pounds 15.2 ounces and spent zero time at the hospital. Trust in your doctor's love.
