Can someone ANYONE tell me their ways of getting their little ones to bed ? My daughter is one and…

I need to follow this because I’m having the same problem wth my 10mo old. I’ve tried to let him cry and just go in there and soothe him every few mins but damn he’ll never stop lol. It helps for me to lay him down in his crib and get him settled then I lay in his stuffed animals on the floor next to him til he falls asleep lol

Have you tried a night light or relaxing music? I’ve done both & worked for me. I also tried to talk to my son, in a way he would understand. When you let them cry it out it also helps to check on them every 5/10 mins & reassure them it’s okay & that you’ll be back to check on them.

Either she passes out on her own or I have to rock her to sleep- sometimes forcefully

@veex3, I know what she means about crying it out. I never did it bc my daughter would cry until she started vomiting and choking

@kedrababy, my oldest niece was like that as well, there are so many different ways to try & every child is different so you won’t know what’ll work right or not until you try.

Yes mam she has a little thing that has fish in it that go round and round w dim lighting and music . It stops playing after 45 mins . & also any time i do go in .. after either tryna let her cry it out or to see if she’ll lay down on her own .. she wants me to pick her up - and if i tell her calmly .. like hey it’s time for bed go nunights .. she freaks out especially if i say it than walk away or even walk to the door and stand at it . She literally wants me to stand at her crib and stare at her until she falls asleep unless i rock her to sleep 🤦🏽‍♀️ @veex3,

@oceanna, omg, I know some children will associate bedtimes & nap times as a bad thing lol I’ll look into more ways you could possibly try & see to help you out & get back to you on it. lol

Also it’s like .. she gives me the hardest time out of everyone .. anytime her grandma is putting her to bed when she stays w her .. she’s like ohh i love bed time w her she’s so good and cuddly . I’m like .. ?? MY KID ? lol like why man . & w her dad he lays on the floor near her bed till she sleeps than she’s fine . Not me 🤦🏽‍♀️

My mom has the easiest time putting him to bed so does Ian. I think it’s separation anxiety and they just love us their mommies so much they don’t wanna be without us lol

That’s what my bf says & i feel like she thinks she’ll miss something if she dousnt stay awake lol , i haven’t tried my luck yet to see how long she’d actually stay awake if i didn’t put her to bed but i bet she’d stay up all dang night !! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ @shellbell0391,

I had that issue about 3 yrs ago just take baby steps and ease your way out the door..maybe make sure she super exhausted before you put her down
