@dazzlingmommy, I only got 6 weeks. But since I work at a school they closed for Christmas and new year which gave me an extra 2 weeks. I go back on the 8th. I'm seriously going to be a mess the first day. I feel like she's so small and she needs me. But I didn't pass my 6 month probation at my job and I could get fired. I cannot afford to lose the job. I got hired for lausd as a senior office tech making 17$ a hour and getting full benefits if I need them. Since we are using my husbands benefits I get an extra 200$ a month since I'm not using them. So it's hard for me to think about asking if I could get another month off.

I actually left my job paying 18 an hour with benefits to be home with my baby 😩. I hatedddd that place so it was easy for me to leave lol.

@dazzlingmommy, I really do like my job, and as a family we can't afford for me to be a stay at home mom. California is just too expensive.
