My baby is the same age as yours. She's been in a convertible since she was 9 months old. Still rear facing until 2 then will be front facing until 4 then I will convert it to a regular booster. It saves money in the long run is why I decided to get a convertable

Convertible because then you don't have to buy another car seat anytime soon! I got a 4ever car seat so I never have to buy another one for my baby. It's expensive but saves money in the long run 😉

I think a convertible is just safer for a small child.
