I’m so sick and tired of being judged for going out and having fun. I take ONE DAY A WEEK to go out…

unless they have kids and do the same shit you do all day, they can't tell you anything. actually, you're grown. nobody should have any say in how you spend your free time away from your babe. I work full time, I have to be away from him to take care of him. I DESERVE to have me-time and I deserve to go out every once in a while. if anybody has something to say, well then 🖕 em.

Don't let anyone tell you what kind of parent you are! It's a good thing you get the chance to go out! Alot of moms rarely get the chance! You shouldn't be judged for it, or have to explain yourself to anyone. Especially to women who don't even have children. You deserve a night out every week!

People are assholes, no matter what you do, they judge us. Don't let them get to you, and don't explain yourself to them. Your taking care of your baby and thats all that matters.

@cecily_rena Yes they are! I had my first daughter when I was 18. I lived with my grandma at the time so I had alot of chances to go out when she would go to sleep, and I went out every weekend. I got slammed quite a few times by young women who didn't have children. It upset me to think others thought I was a bad parent because of it, but fuck them!! I seriously miss those days lol. Since I got out on my own it's hard for me to go out and enjoy myself.. also seems like the older the kids get the less family wants to watch them!

@tattooed_mama, thank you!! I guess it just gets annoying since it’s only towards me. None of the other moms that do the same thing but since they’re friends with the person judging they don’t get judged it’s so annoying.

Fuck them! I have a drink every weekend too. And no I don't leave my kids with my parents or anyone. You don't have to go out to have a drink. People are so damn bored with their lives they come to look and judge on everyone else. It's okay to enjoy yourself when you have free time, I do it. My kids always come First and just because we have a drink doesn't mean we're bad parents.
