Do you guys give your babies and kids medicine for a cough? I never do because there really isn’t anything you can give, no cough syrup for children under 6. And my husband is obsessed with the thought that there is cough syrup, or that Tylenol will help a cold. I will only give Tylenol for a fever but he seems to think that it will actually heal the cold
Your not suppose to give a child cough medicine under 5 years old

No. You shouldnt suppress a cough. That makes it linger longer and makes the child more miserable. Coughs help to bring up whatever is causing a problem

Those products are literally natural so they're just what you're using at home. So... Its not like its medicine.

But not just for cough only if she has other symptoms runny nose sneezing etc @alecandfrankiesmum, usually if it’s just a cough I won’t give her anything
@alecandfrankiesmum, we’re using Motrin right now for her fever it’s gone down now thank goodness she was at 38.4
@sashie, I just took his temp. It’s 38.6. I really hope it goes down. I have Tylenol.

@alecandfrankiesmum, I bought this brand also and it worked good for xander with a cough... but if the fever isn’t getting better and there is a cough that seems to be getting worse it could be croup. We had to bring Xander in last week to emerge to get a one time treatment for it. Hope you figure it out

@alecandfrankiesmum, I think it just feels like forever when there sick because they become mush haha unlike us we can just take medicine and keep going. Fingers crossed for a healthy start to the year 😉
