Feel like absolute shite, all my friends are literally naff and all stopped making an effort after I found out I was pregnant and Me and my other half have 0 money and baby is due in just under 6 weeks and I just feel so overwhelmed and ready to scream, bloody hormones don't help. I know I should be super positive as I get to meet my bundle of joy soon but I just feel so not ready I want to be able to provide for my baby and the income just barely provides for me let alone my baby and partner :( sorry to moan.

I think everybody has the 'oh shit can we actually do this' moment, and if you didn't I'd be worried haha. Babies don't need lots of stuff, just food, a place to sleep, clothes, nappys and lots of love!
Also friends come and go, and there's nothing like a baby to weed out the true and false friends. Don't let them not being around spoil your happiness, plus your kid is literally like your friend for life 🤘
You got this, everything falls into place in the end lovely.

@beffgoude oh that's a relief I feel like I should totally have my shit together 😂 My partner is literally my only friend right now and I should be totally okay with that I guess I just never expected my friends to bail as my life changed dramatically pfffft never mind eh this baby will be the best thing to happen to me :) and a friend for life as you said! @firsttimemummy86 thank you both, it's nice to rant on here occasionally and realise other people understand xxx

I lost a few of my friends when pregnant but my kids brought me a whole new group of friends, friends that I couldn’t imagine life without now. Your about to embark on a whole new adventure, sometimes you have to leave people behind xx

@steph1101 Yes I am hoping to meet some other mums who I click with, I love my OH but it's nice having other people to talk to on occasion. I feel like pregnancy scared everyone off, I will be so annoyed if they all start making an effort again once baby arrives though which is likely haha! Good way to put it, a new adventure that's a much more positive way of looking at it! Thankyou xx

@sjbeanie, you will meet lots of other people in the same boat at you but some will stick around and be forever friends. Your friends that have dumped you, will in time regret it, especially when they have their own babies and get dumped too. Xx
