Idk honestly. Sometimes he'll keep it in his mouth until he falls asleep and sometimes he won't hold it in unless I'm touching his face.

I should clarify that he screams when the binky falls out, he stops screaming when I put it in his mouth, but I have to hold it in.

Have you tried skin to skin? Kinda sounds like he just want to near you that’s why he stops crying when you are holding it.

That’s how my son was. Turned out he just didn’t like it. 😒

Yeah that works I just laid him next to me and he passed out. I just wish I could get stuff done around the apartment. 😭 I think I'll just nap with him, I'm so worn out.

I recommend wearing him, to get things done around the house. But yes, nap while you can. Enjoy the baby cuddles, they don’t last forever!

I used to struggle too, I feel ya.

She's just now learning how to almost keep it in her mouth, without me holding it, and to fall asleep without it.

I just put a blanket around her, put her where the binky rests half on my chest and roll her in towards me. She enjoys the closeness.
