I put my little boy up to bed in our room at around 10 weeks old. It gets them into a good routine. X

@kshelley, I’ve put h r up tonight on her own for the first time. She has started getting grumpy downstairs because she is tired but too nosy to go to sleep. She has a bath and last bottle by 8pm so May put her up at that time tomorrow night and see what happens...she is showing the signs of wanting to go to bed but I was curious what everyone else does x

@hayleyf ye that's good. If she is showing signs then I'd go for it 👍🏾 x

@kshelley, thank you! Will get the baby monitor out tomorrow then! Lol. What time does your baby go to bed in their cot if you don’t mind me asking? No one advises you on any of this when you have a baby lol x

@hayleyf lol I know, it's all trial and error. I still follow his cues on when he is looking tired. But I usually aim for between 7 and 8. It's lovely once they get used to going up to bed earlier than you, as you get a bit of time to yourself. X

@kshelley, I bet I’ll love the time to myself at some point, tonight I sat at the bottom of the stairs listening for her and then didn’t know what to do with myself haha x

@hayleyf haha I was like that, it took a bit of getting used to. X

I keep Maeve with me then bring her to bed. She stays asleep in my arms and stirs a little but the crib rocks her back to sleep. When shes a bit older ill put her into bed and use a baby monitor

@kayteamay, what age do you plan to put her up on her own?x

@hayleyf i think when she falls asleep around 8ish. At the moment shes falling asleep around 11. I think it will probably be when shes about 5 months

@kayteamay, Layla is falling asleep at about 8pm, but she then keeps waking herself up and getting grumpy whilst being downstairs with us, she just whinges then so my gut is saying she wants to be in bed. She is then sleeping through until about 8/9am in the morning x
