While looking up ideas for some simple decorations for my daughter’s second birthday tomorrow I’m slammed with a huge dose of Mom guilt. Her party is just going to be my husband and I and her little brother who is 6m old. We aren’t doing anything lavish but i still want to make it special. On one hand i feed bad for not doing something extravagant but on the other she won’t remember this birthday when she is 30 and it doesn’t take much to impress a 2yr old. I know i need to stop comparing myself to other moms but sometimes it’s really hard.
