Can you bring him in and lock him in the bathroom or something? Definitely wouldn't leave a dog outside in that weather.

I'd find a room inside and deal with the chewing. I would rather he chew up my rugs instead of freezing to death.

Buy him a thick sweater and maybe try bringing him in right before bed and putting him in the bathroom or in a more confined room and letting him out first thing in the morning?

I know you might not want to bring the dog inside but 15 degrees is below freezing it would be inhumane to leave a dog out all night.

Garage, laundry room, bathroom... Maybe you need to stay up and keep an eye on him while inside 🤷🏽‍♀️

Depending on where you live it's illegal to leave your pets out in this weather, too. You could be fined, maybe more. In NJ it's any temps above 90 or below freezing, I think. I don't know if a dog house counts as adequate shelter, unless it's heated I guess?

Yep. You need to bring him in. Just put him in a place that you don’t have to worry about him and take out anything he can chew.

We honestly don't suppose to have any pets. Especially not inside. We rent the place so he can't chew the place up. It's not my dog it's my brothers but I felt bad for him. We use to bring him inside our old place before it we had to move now we all live with our sis. My mom has 2 inside dogs and a cat and my brothers dog would fight and kill them. So honestly I don't know what to do. My brother built his doghouse and it has hay stuff in it to keep outside pets warm but he won't get inside it only when it's raining. I gave him 3 thick comforters to lay on. We don't have a garage or anything wish we did

We always put straw in and around our dog's dog house. He never wanted to be an inside dog

It’s against the law to leave the dog out in that. Shouldn’t have gotten a dog if you couldn’t bring it in during the terrible weather

Um it's not my dog it's my brothers and his female dog got pregnant. Isn't his fault. He's 3 years old and has always been a outside dog. Other than where we use to stay we'd let him inside when it was cold. Then My moms house got auctioned off so we had no place else to go than all together with my sis and so our dogs came with us. Things happen. He has a dog house with hay straw in it but won't go inside it. He rather lay on the ground. I put a fleece sweater on him and put blankets and clothes I don't wear anymore so he could lay on it. I feel better I done that.
