No need to pump at all if nursing

You need to wake baby every 2 hours to nurse in order to regulate supply for the first 4 to 6 weeks

Only pump if you miss a feeding and you only need to put 2 to 3 oz per bag to freeze because that way you dont waste any milk

I would suggest writing the date, am/pm, and the oz amounts on the bag and lay flat to freeze. Laying them flat makes it easier to store but harder to see how much is in the bag (that’s why I’d write the oz on the bag). Otherwise you have a freezer that looks like mine lol.

@beemommyof3 ues im nursing but she been sleeping alot today i been tryning to wake to feed but she just falls right back to sleep dnt want my supply to go down i just made it to 4 oz yesterday 2oz each breast

You should get her naked to wake her up. You dont want to fill the freezer with milk the baby needs now. In 2 months you will want them to have 2 month milk etc.

But yes you should pump for missed feedings
