So for my next pregnancy, according to my OB, I’m at high risk of not making it to the hospital in time based off of how this labor went. Do you think they’ll just induce me to make sure I’m in a controlled environment or c-section? Kind of hoping for a c-section because the recovery of this vaginal birth has been brutal.

You know recovery from major surgery is also extremely brutal...

To answer your question, it’s probably up in the air and has several deciding factors. Because I delivered my second 11 weeks early if I have more kids I will have to have another c section because my local hospital doesn’t do vbacs.
I will say, both ways of delivery sucks. My vaginal induction was extremely painful and my emergency c section wasn’t all that fun either.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, I was in labor for 49 hours with contractions 2-3 minutes apart the entire time but they wouldn’t admit me. After my water broke my son was delivered less than an hour later. I went from 3cm to crowning 15 minutes after being admitted lol if there had been traffic then I would’ve had him in the car. I’m assuming that’s a good enough reason to schedule an induction but I understand if they say no to a c section.
