Hello everyone. I've posted a few times over the last couple of days. I started bleeding light pink/red christmas day and it got heavy over the past few days to the point it was dark red and had stringy looking things when i wiped. I went to a&e and they did a test and it came back negative so got sent to my gp for a blood test. Went to see my gp and she wants me to go next Tuesday for a blood test to get a more accuret result once my bleeding stops she said. She also said i was definitly pregnant despite the hospital strip test being negative. She said my first response tests pick up earlier then hospital strip tests. So im booked in for a blood test next Tuesday. Anyway last night i had a tiny bleed and now its stopped. I've got no pains nothing. I bleed for 2 days. Has anyway had this and still been pregnant? Id be 4 weeks and 1/2 days

Not had it but you probably are still pregnant, some people have their normal periods all the way through I’ve heard, good luck mama xx

I had a bleed at 2 weeks with my little one before I'd done any sort of test. 2 tests at doctors came back negative and it wasn't until 4 days later when I'd gone back after 4 days of bad pain that the doctor thought I could have an ectopic pregnancy. Booked in straight away for blood test and was phoned next day to say I needed to come in again. Sent to hospital and had internals weekly until they could tell where baby was cx

@chloenettle28 I caught a lot of illnesses but that was due to my job. Baby was fine he's now a happy healthy 14 month old who's currently got a washing basket on his head xx

@chloenettle28 try not to worry I know it sounds stupid but there's no point you just think all these things and tbh no matter what the situations there's little you can do to prevent them from happening. Just relax and carry on that's the best advice I can give unfortunately xx
