Around 18 months and started transitioning around 2 years old or when they started to climb out of the crib like you said.

@believeinbuddha when you transitioned what all did you do to keep them from climbing out ? And techniques ? Lol her bedroom is upstairs and I don't want her learning to open her door and fall

@annabellasmom when they started climbing out I stopped using the crib. And when they would get out of bed I would just guide them back to bed. But a safety gate on the door helps

I would suggest buying two TALL safety gates for her room and the stairway asap

I bought one when my son was around 14 months. I put him in there just for naps. I also put extra railing so he doesn’t roll out.
