Who ever said that needs to be ashamed of themselves. A mixed child is no different from any other child just like a black white asian or any other race person is no different from anyone. We are all the same god just made us in his own image.

Now she has two biracial grandchildren she loves to pieces and is basically raising them.

My dad told me the same shit. And when I was pregnant with my first and he found out her dad was mixed he was so pissed at me and said some racist shit. But now he absolutely loves her! Some people don't "believe" in interracial marriages and relationships but why not? It makes no sense!

I’ve heard people say they would disown their child if they even dated outside their race. Pure ignorance. I was like so her future husband can treat her like trash as long as he’s white? Stupid as hell.

What a joke, that actually makes me sad that there’s those kinds of people zero respect for them.

I had this conversation with some one the other day. At this point in my life, I would not chose to have a mixed child. I don't feel it would be fair to the child. But earlier in my life sure, it was a possibility.

I love my mixed babies and wouldn’t change anything. Yes I get asked crazy questions about them, yes a lot of people stare at us, yes we get very rude comment, but all I do is give them the finger. Cause my babies are perfect in every way 😌

People are ignorant my grandmother was the same way she told me if I had a baby by a Arabic person she would disown me but now I actually am having a child by Arabic man she says smart comments but she said she’s still gonna love my baby but just don’t that again 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I’m like whatever

@pettybetty, how would being mixed be unfair to the child?

@kartersmommyy well in my opinion, if I brought a mixed child into a home with 9 white people.... I would fear the mixed child would feel singled out, different, or as they don't fit in. I would never want that.

If i were younger and was at a point in my life where adding more than one child to my family was an option, sure I would. But I would add more than one mixed child so the singularity wouldnt be there.

I actually had a friend who was the only mixed person in her family and she often confided that she felt like an outsider. In high school, all of her sisters would go get their hair done together, while she went some where else BC the hair dressers weren't comfortable with her hair. Shopping, well their bodies were different. So the sisters shopped at certain stores while she sjhopped alone at stores that worked for her. So I guess just seeing this happen, and seeing her struggle... I wouldn't want to put a child thru that.

My personal story tho... My family wanted me to marry a nice mexican man, as they say it. They for the most part disowned me BC I married a redneck as hell white boy. Lol

@pettybetty, That makes sense.. I guess it just depends on how the child is raised & what environment they grow up in. For instance my son has a brother (who is also mixed) & his dad (who is black) is very active in his son’s life & will be with my son as well so he won’t feel so singled out because he will never be the only one
