3 little letters that make your heart sink... RSV.... just got a call from the hospital, we’re looking at RSV on top of our pneumonia and a few other infections. We are back on the hospital vent, on higher settings and hoping to make him more comfortable. Baby boy can’t catch a break and my husband and I are scrambling to try and find out if we possibly had a respiratory virus a few weeks ago. We’re not sure where we go from here, but do know we can’t sustain at the point we’re at. Through all of this, our little guy still smiles (even if we are only getting half smiles now). Please pray that we can get answers.... please pray we can put an end to his infections and viruses, please pray that he will keep fighting... please pray. We are entering month 3 of this hospital stay and have officially spent more time IN the hospital than OUT. Can’t wait until everyone is home together and we can put this behind us!

I'm sorry girl. RSV sucks my daughter had it at 3 weeks old. Prayers to your little one and your family.

@purpledpink lots of prayers! My son had that is do scary my son was preemie and was only home a month and got it. Took him to 3 dr.s saying something was wrong and saying he turns blue alot and they never checked his oxygen levels was so thankful when his dr was back from her vacation she came into the room before he was back from getting his weight and stuff checked and she was like you need to go straight to the hospital. She says she was in her office which is by the area they weight the kids and she could here him. Sending lots and lots of prayers!

@tristan-makes-5, that is crazy! Why would they not check him? So sorry you had to go through that! We’re blessed that our team is super in tune with our little guy and his issues. When we go to the ER, his primary team is always waiting for us will take over. At this point for us, we just have to help maintain him, keep him stable, and pray that we don’t have to go even higher on our vent settings (to help prevent organ failures). This winter has been the worst for sickness, I can’t wait till it is over! Hope your little guy and whole family are doing well!!! 😘😘
