I have a question but I might be stupid but I am gonna ask anyways! I have what is called low blood sugar! It is normally never low and it stays above 110 and I have been fainting sometimes to where i would hit the floor hard! The baby has been fine! It’s heart rate is 160 which they said is go at the hospital! I am just wanting to know what could be going on! It happen to me yesterday and my blood pressure is fine and so is my sugar level it was 115! I just need to know what to kind of do! I don’t stand up quickly or anything like that! I am just worried something might happen while my other two kids are with me and I am by myself! My husband works during the day! I have a 4 year old girl and a almost 2 year old boy! I don’t want to scare them at all if it happens! I do have a wheelchair in my house from a surgery I had on my foot so if I did need it I use it if something happens!

My blood sugar will drop if I didn't eat enough the day before or for dinner or if I haven't eaten anything that day. It's your body running out of sugar stores and you not replinishing them enough or on time. Make sure you eat something first thing in the morning, juices are a huge help to get your sugar back up quickly. And anytime you begin to feel shaky, weak, or get tunnel vision, sit down for a few minutes so you don't fall and grab or have someone grab you a sugary snack or drink. If it's just the kids at home with you have something somewhere that your daughter can grab for you if needed. She should be old enough to understand mommy needs an emergency snack and remember where they are. :)

You can also check out the diabetic supplies at the pharmacy/vitamin area of the store and get glucose tablets. It's pretty much a giant sweet tart. You can keep a small bag or bottle of them with you so you'll have something on hand.
