@nomli, oh no.. our house got hit in August and our landlord got the check from the insurance to fix and she refuses to fix it. We are living in our living room
@xoxomamaof2xoxo I would let her know if she doesn't fix it you'll make a phone call to a lawyer or she won't get the full payment of rent since you're paying out of the pocket for a new water pump. And I'm pretty sure it's illegal too
@nomli, yup basically. So because we have 2 foster kids we have to be careful cause they have the 2 bedrooms and the landlord can evict us at her discretion it’s in the lease. She is dirty like that. She was an awesome landlord before the truck hit. Now we see the true side of her.

That sucks so much. She's just gonna pocket the money and let you live in a damaged home?!?
