Hello. My name is LeAndra Potts. I am a 35yo first-time mother! Baby Nice is expected to join our lovely family around June 7, 2018. My hometown it's a VERY small town in South Easten Ohio; however, my fiance and I just bought a house in a small town in the Northern panhandle of WV!! I absolutely love this 100yr old house, but we haven't moved in yet because we are totally gutting the inside from top to bottom in order to remodel to fit our needs and lifestyle!! It's a huge project and will take a significant amount of time, effort, and finances!! We hope to have the main floor and at least the bathroom and the nursery ready before the end of May... We shall see!! 😌

I am previously divorced (only once), and have since met and fell head over heels in love with my soulmate! We met through work and quickly became close friends. Little did I know, he had other intentions! ☺️ Although we have only been dating for less than a year, we both knew that things just felt right between us. That's why we took the fast track with our relationship! We moved in together after just 2-3 months, bought our house around the same time, and began talking about getting married and TRYING to start a family! Although he has not "officially" proposed yet, we consider ourselves to be engaged because for Christmas this year, he decided he would buy me a beautiful vintage engagement ring and wedding band set!

So that leaves Baby Nice.... He or She is due on June 7. In my previous marriage, my ex-husband and I had tried to conceive for a little over 9 years. I have some health issues that lower my fertility. I was diagnosed with Stage III-IV Endometriosis, PCOS, Uterine Fibroids, as well as a retrograde (severely tilted) uterus! All of these factors combine with mother nature proved that there was less than a 5% chance that I could or would become pregnant. In the Summer/Fall off 2016, I finally found a Doctor who correctly diagnosed me and performed surgery immediately to alleviate my symptoms and improve my fertility!! Fast forward to August 2017, about 1yr since my surgery. My Doctor it's concerned about my symptoms returning and wants to perform the surgery again, only this time there's about an 80-90% chance that he'd decide to go ahead with a partial or complete hysterectomy! I came out of the office bawling my eyes out, explaining to my fiance that we would probably not be starting that family we both so desperately wanted! We were both devastated as we discussed the option of adoption, as I sat in the lobby awaiting yet another ultrasound. Once I was taken back for my scan, little did I know that my fiance too it upon himself to request to speak to my physician one on one. He just came right out and asked what we could do to have at least one child! My doctor ended up not scheduling my surgery but instead wrote is both prescriptions for fertility drugs and agreed to let us try until my 35th Birthday, which is in February 2018!! I want skeptical that these drugs were going to be the answer, but I took them and we began our journey!! It only ended up taking us 3 short months of trying, and as of September 14th, we were officially pregnant!!!!!
