Breast milk helps ..her cheeks look chapped are they dry/rough? If it is baby aveeno helped mine ..This weather is so harsh on their gentle delicate skin
@jazzyjazz, I haven't put any lotion on her as I was told not to by the nurses because they said she didn't need it. BUT I think I should. She's 6 weeks now.
I just took my lo to her pedi & it's totally normal . I bought baby aquaphor & its finally clearing up . For the neck I used baby powder & it went away completely . Just make sure the are is always dry . Her pedi did prescribed me hydrocortisone if it gets worse
Had same with my baby girl! We switched to dove soap gently wash with clean rag a couple times a day and doc said it was ok to use hydrocortisone 1% rub in well then aquaphor. It clears up over night or two days.

Yes, my daughter had the same back then. I put breast milk on it and it went away :)

@jazzyjazz, and yes they felt dry right now. I put breastmilk and some baby aveeno lotion for dry skin
