My doctor called and told me to head to L&D to be monitored. I’m leaving now, they said everything seems fine, she just may be a little lazy and the doctor checked me for dilation and said “fingertip” to the nurse, but didn’t quite tell me what that means. She told me that my cervix is very soft, but what does fingertip mean? I’m dilating? I’m confused lol
