We want our baby girl to sleep in our room for a few months. Is a pack and play safe for that?

Yes i did it with my daughter and still doing it with my son. I didn't buy padding tho. I just put my fluffiest blanks and stacked them in the bed so it resembled a mattress

I think we will get a pack n play with bassinet at top I've seen a lot of good reviews on them plus you can travel with it. I recommend you get one with bassinet at the top like the pic kkmamx3 posted

Yes they are good, but I recommend one with a bassinet at the top, that way you don’t bend all the way down when they are newborns. And you can remove the bassinet part and put baby at the bottom when he/she starts to stand. Something like this.. they also have fancy ones with a changing table.

Get a rock and play sleeper. They are much better and smaller.
