My little boy had his done a few days after he was born, just make sure you keep it cleaned! He will be fine mama! May be a little grouchy afterwards, but I don't blame him, he did just have his wee wee cut! Prayers to you both!!
Aw don’t stress, you’re doing it for him as a favor. Plus they only cry for a few seconds and they give sugar water and they knock out. I was stressed too I remember I was pacing back and forth but it was unnecessary in the end. He’ll be fine 😘
I went with my best friend for her sons when he was 5 days old. He slept through the entireeeee thing and then it was totally healed in less than a week. Try not to stress..the babies can sense your stress. Just relax and it will be over before ya know it! 🤗
@vegasmomma, you got this momma! Ollie cried more from the nurse putting him down (who doesn’t wanna be carried around?!) You can give a dose of Tylenol after. I truly think it’s harder on us mommas. Just make sure to keep it clean and ointment that babe up. The next day he wasn’t even bad. After a few days there like “what mom I got this” sending lots of prayers good vibes and love to you and that babe
I got my sons done because his father wanted it done, although I will never do it again my son was fine afterwards healed completely in about almost 2 weeks. Keep it clean and put ointment himself he’ll be fine! My son wasn’t even grouchy afterwards. (I think I lucked out with a quite content baby)
I was honestly a bigger baby then my son. He cried during the whole thing but because he was tied down and is hates being pinned down. I cried like a huge baby when they took him away but when I got into the room and nursed him he was completely fine. He was a little sensitive afterwards (of course) but he pretty much acted like nothing happened. Just keep it super super clean and the healing process will be fast. You got this mama!
