I did 2nd time. I was so set on not having one with first labour. It went ok & I managed on gas & air but 2nd time I knew early on I was going to ask for an epidural! It relaxed me which made me feel less anxious. Was weird when it came to pushing but overall I wouldn't say no if I felt I needed one again!
@cristinaataman96 I had an epidural with my 1st and wanted one with my 2nd but with my 2nd they said would slow labour down and I would also have to stay in so I just managed with the gas and air x
I had one. And I suffer with really bad backs ever since whether it's defo due to that I don't know but weird it's ever since having it however it was amazing at the time xx
Pls take it. Midwives are generally against it but doctors support it. During my pregnancy a doctor friend told me to just take it without even considering other options, but I shut him off thinking I’ll just go pure natural like how the midwives say. But on the day of labour OMG it was hell. Epidural was my saving grace. x

i had it and it only worked on one side but it did slow the labour down alottt. Xx

Dear ladies! Last night i gave birth to a beautiful princess! Haven't take any epidural as I was very worried about side effects!!
I was 40 hours in very painful contractions and 2 hours labor!
The contractions before the labour and before the birth wash the most painful experience I had in my life!
No gas no anesthetic helped me!
Was everything really painful..... but all this was nothing compared to the life I gave last night 🙏❤😇
