Am I the only one who’s kid will not hold their hand when walking?! Like he wants to walk, and I don’t mind, but walk with me kid . I’d really love to let him walk in the store but walk with me gosh darnit ! Don’t run in the opposite direction 🙄.

Noah does that. He’s been walking for about 6-8 weeks now but he never wants to hold my hand or stay with me so isn’t allowed to walk in stores 😕 I’m working on it in certain store like if we go to buy buy baby or something but we have a long ways to go lol

My son is 2 and still does it .

@noahs.mommy, @mami1234 its frustrating , I totally understand he wants to walk and I would let him buy A. He doesn’t let me hold his hand and B. He’ll run in the opposite direction. I don’t even know how to “work” on it, like every time I try to force him to hold my hand he throws himself on the floor so I just pick him up and don’t let him walk .

We only let our son walk sometimes but most of the time he is the cart or stroller

My son will pull his hand away. We just got him a harness so he can walk independently and we will have a piece of mind he can't run off. He is extremely fast we have trouble catching him.

@mommywifelifestyle, my son pulls his hand away too! But if we got him a harness (which I have thought of), he’ll just try to run still and he’s not very steady yet so if I try to pull him I’m pretty sure he’ll fall.
