I love that my fiancé is a volunteer firefighter but I hate how he puts it first sometimes. Like if it’s a burning house or a car wreck or something major then of course go to the scene but if they literally say “non emergency” over the radio when they tone you out for a fire alarm then just think about it a second. It’s Sunday, we could be spending family time together. But instead he ran the call and it’s not even really the fact that he went that bothers me but every single time he goes he ends up spending hours just talking to the other guys after everything is over. I’m at home starving and nothing in this house is calling my name I was hoping we could go get some food since we have to go out anyways but I guess I’ll have to wait now until whenever he decides to come back home 🙄🙄
