Is it possible for real contractions to start off irregular, then become regular? Or stop for a couple hours and come back. I had some painful contractions earlier for about 3-5 mins apart and then they stop and for now for the last hour I’ve had contractions anywhere from 2-10 mins apart, changing positions doesn’t make them go away and, they’re taking my breathe away. But not sure if they’re real or just Braxton Hicks.

Sorry but it's what's classified as irregular uterine contractions. You will know when it becomes the real deal. They will become much closer together. When it's to the point you can't even stand to look at your phone or even pick it up or have someone talking to you that's how you will know your in true labor.

That is how mine was after my water broke that is why I didn't know if I should go in just yet because I thought there would be no point so I waited but they never got regular they were all over the place
