Connor threw a huge fit earlier and threw his head into the corner of the wall. I know it hurt him and we comforted him. He was laying on me and I noticed on the back of his head is this huge bump, and dried up blood. I gave him Motrin because I know it probably hurts, but nap time is soon and I’m nervous he hit his head too hard. He took that big top piece off of the wall😓

@momma_dee, I called my brother because he used to be a paramedic and he told me if his pupils get really small, or if he starts throwing up or trying to go to sleep then we know it’s a concussion. The only thing is that it’s about nap time, and he also has a cold so his nose has always been runny. He’s playing and seems fine, but it hurts him so much he can’t even lay down

@kcamps, I’ve always heard that if there is a fear of concussion to not let the person sleep. At least that’s what the doctors told me when I got hurt as a child. Given what the wall looks like, I would take him to the doctor ASAP.

The back of head is common just make sure he Doesnt sleep and keep an eye if he starts acting strangely.. Otherwise ice pack on and off

Yes, definitely keep him up and a close eye on him as others have already said. Poor baby 😔
