So I need advice ‼⁉ Last night my boyfriend and I were going to sleep and he said he didn't want to go to work this morning, I said "I know, I wish you didn't have to work so much" and he pops off with "yea I wish I could stay home and sleep like you" I told him "you act like that's all I do"... I was insulted because I'm home with our daughter every day. The only day he's off is Sunday. All day I'm feeding our daughter, changing her, getting her to take naps and cleaning up her toys after playtime, cook dinner for him every day, and cleaning our apartment. How would you respond

I would ask him if I stayed at home and sleep all day how does everything get done? Magic I suppose?

I would respond by letting him take the day off and you leave him with her for a full day. Upon return baby needs to be clean, fed, house clean and dinner made. 🤷 Then he can see how much sleep you get. Make him eat his words.

I plan at “me” day every so often where I leave for the whole day (errands, spa day, a movie, whatever. Sometimes I just take a book to a coffee shop and read for hours in peace) and leave him home with our son all day. He stops making comments like that pretty fast. Nothing like making them live it to get them to stop thinking it’s so easy.

Thank you ladies, @badadvicemom and @believeinbuddha love the responses lol, @beemommyof3 @sarahmartinez817 I don't have my license or a permit right now, so I can't leave anytime I want to, I either have to have a friend come get me or go with him lol that's the only problem with your suggestions. But if I did have a vehicle and license I would definitely do that

@1xmom I can't drive either so I go for walks with my baby or alone when I need a break. It helps a lot. I even bought Harley a special stroller just for us to walk with.
