I swaddle my little girl every night it is normal hun. Daisy fights it at first cos she can't move her hands then gives up and goes sleep. If I didn't swaddle her she will keep hitting her self in her face xx

If hes moaning and settles i would continue to swaddle hun. I tried it with Maya and she would kick and wave her arms about and scream. So didnt try it again xx

As long as it isnt distressing them..id say its perfectly fine to let them moan a bit xx

aah how we let our first child get away with everything lol, we stopped swaddling Rayhan for that reason and my mum use to say its normal for him to kick a up a fuss @noshinxoxo

@firsttimemummy86 loool ikr. It wasn't until we did CIO with Zaid that it hit me how tough they are but also how easily they can trick us. Obvs a newborn has no idea it's tricking us, it's just us projecting all sorts on to them.

@winterbaby95 Agreed. I think that was the issue with Zaid, he had reflux so a little bit of struggle equalled vomiting and that was distressing. This one does growl and sometimes seems really angry with it. So it does make me hesitate. But sometimes it works a charm. We'll see.

I haven't done this with my son but then again nearly 12 years ago with my daughter things were so different I never even used a sleep bag on my daughter x

My son used to do that, and I was worried he was uncomfortable. I did read somewhere that babies prefer their arms to be up by their head, so I bought this swaddle / sleeping bag. You can zip the arms off one at a time when they are ready and it turns into a normal sleeping bag.. My little boy loves this and never makes a fuss anymore. Xx

@kshelley I have something similar. A gro bag. And yeah I take his arms out if he seems like he's shouting too much about being trapped lol. Xx
