So today my grandad got diagnosed with lewi body dementia 😣my heart breaks as I work with residents with dementia n I can't come to terms with he's gnna b like that i feel so sorry for him he's gnna rapidly go down hill he already don't no who we r ,
All on top off Christmas 😢 you so called supportive bf can't even come out the pub and see how I am iv worked all day sorted all the kids and tea and am now sat researching dementia
Well today iv opened my eyes to alot and life's to short 💔

It's a absolute night mare I am heartbroken ! Well he is the least off my worries I no were I stand now ! I just no my grandad won't get better he's gnna get worse x

I'm so sorry hun. My stepdad has dementia and he wouldn't listen to us about going to get checked now it's too late he doesn't remember us. Always her if you need a chat x

@mum2sky he don't no none off use now it's only been 6 months we've fort for a diagnosis, he's seeing my nan in his flat maken her cups off tea (she's been dead 7 years ) 😢

@srose1989 aww bless him. I'm so sorry hun seriously. I remember when I was in primary school we went to the old people's home to sing at Xmas and I met a woman who had dementia I didn't know at the time and I read her a Xmas card and she didn't remember the people who sent it and I was trying for ages to get her to remember her family and she wouldn't and it's always stuck with me. She kept talking about her dead husband as if he was there and it broke my heart. I will pray for you all x

@srose1989 ur main concern is ur grandad now it's a horrible illness and so sad to go through I went through it with my great gran and it is heartbreaking x

So sorry to hear this, my grandad had dementia and I worked with it too for a few years, it definitely doesn’t compare to when your own family member has it :( cherish every moment you get with him hun xx

I'm so sorry! It's horrible when a loved one becomes ill or something with my nan dying not long ago it's opened my eyes too! You never know what around the corner xx
