I need to vent! My son will be two years old next month and I deal with anxiety with that being said in the two years I have never had a mental break down while my son is missed behaving at stores or at peoples houses. Today I was running some errands for my husband, and I had to stop at UPS and the post office. Well being the toddler that he is he didn’t want to be carried he wanted to be walking around and touch stuff the people at the post office were actually really nice and really didn’t mind him being a toddler, however the people at the UPS store were horrible horrible people. My son is two and he’s gonna throw tantrums if he doesn’t get what he wants it’s already overwhelming having to run errands with a toddler let alone people making comments on how he’s acting and look at you people, the employees telling you; he’s not supposed to be touching that!! do you not know that I know do you not hear me tell my son don’t touch that, and did he listen to me? What makes people think that a toddler is going to listen to the stranger, he’s too if he doesn’t listen to me he’s not gonna listen to you he’s going to want to do what he wants to do! I ran out of UPS crying because it’s sad to me that people don’t understand a toddler it’s sad to me that they want to look at mothers a certain way because in their mind they think that we don’t teach our kids any better. I had to let this off my chest!!
