@p0790, that’s what I say but everyone tells me “no not until he’s 15 months-2” ummmm well he’s not an infant anymore so what is he? Lol it makes me so mad 😂

I believe it's different for every child, for my daughter it was like three different stages: baby, baby-toddler, and finally full toddler.

@loveless, maturity wise I think some kids are like that but age wise...he’s an infant for 5 more days then he’s a toddler 😂 I do agree they all mature differently though 👌

I definitely couldn't believe it when I started considering my daughter as a toddler lol

@loveless, I can’t believe it either. He’s been toddler like for a while now but he’s officially a toddler on the 18th and I want to cry😭 I’m super excited at the same time though my family and his dads family are all getting together for his party and my feels are just all over 😭

Just wait until you experience his first toddler meltdown (I hope you don't) those feels are overwhelmingly mixed up

@loveless, he did that last night 😭 we were trying to see Santa and he HATED the long line and was throwing himself everywhere and crying throwing his head back. Everyone started looking at me like “control your kid” 😭😭 he’s done these before but not in public

Oh no I'm so sorry! The first time it happened to us was in the grocery store. There's a play area and I took her to it but then I started noticing how dirty the toys likely were (at the time there had been a measles outbreak so we were avoiding large groups and playgrounds) so I tell her we're not going to play there and instead go back to daddy, as soon as I was walking away from the area she freaked out in arms and usually when this happened if I kept gong she would calm down right away but this time she didn't. She was crying and biting, screaming, everyone heard her and everyone was looking. The only thing I could think of was to remove from the place and I took her outside, talking and trying to console- it didn't work too well. When she did calm down a bit we went back inside and I am so thankful these three sweet girls came up and spoke to her, they really helped calm her down. I cry about it when I think of how much they helped my daughter 😿

@loveless, I used to do that! I was SO mean to my mom when I was little. I pray my son never acts like I did, I wasn’t as embarrassed as I thought I’d be I just got mad because everyone around me cared SO much about the fact that he was throwing a fit. Like mind your own business then it just got frustrating because he was getting to the point where I couldn’t hold him without feeling like I was going to drop him because he was kicking and pushing so hard. I almost cried.

I definitely wanted to cry and I cried in the car later, I felt so bad I made her so upset. People can be so insensitive especially towards children and mothers, taking care of real young children is like looking after someone on psychedelics- every detail impacts their world/perception.
