My hubby and I decided to bottle feed Aiden pumped milk and use a pacifier if he’s still fussy after eating cause we don’t want to over feed him. Let me just say I feel SO much more sane compared to breastfeeding. I was always tired and felt like I was the only thing that would soothe him which made me cry a lot lol also I could tell the hubby felt upset cause he felt like nothing he did would soothe Aiden. Now we’re both super happy about being able to share the responsibility and plus Aiden seems to prefer bottle over boob anyway😂 I just wanted to share my excitement about my sanity lol

Watch out if you want to continue breastfeeding! Introducing a bottle so early can cause the baby to prefer the bottle to your breasts and make him refuse breastfeeding. This is due to the bottle flowing easier whereas with your breasts baby has to work. Also make sure everyone practices paced feeding to avoid stretching baby’s tummy ! I breast feeded my son for 1 year and 1 month after seeing he didnt eat much other then breast milk,i switched him over to bottel long story short it changes alot !! Your body changes,you feel more like your self,my son sleeps more and eat sooo much more :)

@chibiytino, Seriously it’s been such a sigh of relief for my hubby and I! We actually are able to get him to sleep in his own room/crib now instead of a bassinet next to our bed, and he just seems overall so much more content with eating out of the bottle!

Thats great am happy it works for u ! Honestly aftee giving birth we all need a little break lol happy mom happy baby
