It really freaks me out when people put their 6-7 week old NEWBORN in a bumbo or try to sit them up…

Some babies can't lay flay

@stevie.savoie22, yeah my son had reflux as well I always propped him up but I mean like full on sitting them up like a 5-6 month old would 😬

@vvrobinson, I agree I always held my son but if i showered or anything then I would put him in his swing in the bathroom with me so he was propped! He always seemed to spit up laying flat

I pictured putting my son in his bumbo this morning while I showered and then laughed at myself because I knew it was stupid, I used his swing instead. How do people not have that common sense? That's just too much.

@beemommyof3, yes girl exactly! Pushing them to grow up and then they’ll miss it! Babies learn best at their own pace! My son didn’t crawl until he was 9 freaking months but after that he was walking by a year!
