Hey mamas...need your opinions!
My insurance covers the Ameda finesse basic breast pump fully or I could upgrade to the Medela pump in style. I had the medela one for my first. Barely used and I can't find it since we moved!
I'm hoping to breastfeed as long as possible. If Gracelynn didn't need special formula; I would have. I was fortunate to have a good supply right away.
If I need to pump, do I go with the ameda which is free or just pay the $50 for the pump in style! There is also Lansinoh smartpump for $50 through my insurance...decisions decisions

I personally hated the Medela pump

@mommysbabies, i remember I liked the hospital pump better than mine. She was in the NICU over 3 weeks. By the time she came home, she was on preemie formula

@bemx94, which spectra. There are a few starting at $65. I'm willing to spend for a better quality pump! Especially with only one free option and the online reviews were meh..

Ask them if you have a trial period to see if that pump works for you and if you don't like it if you will be able to use the upgrade... If so start with free and if you don't like it upgrade.....I love Medela! The company was great when I had issues with mine. @gracelynnsmama

I m getting ameda purely yours I read good things about ameda brand. The Medela Pump I got from insurance my first pregnancy sucked for me. The suction was terrible for me. U can look them up to compare or YouTube comparison videos that’s what I did before I chose what one I wanted
