Just to clarify why the south normally goes into a state of emergency when there is “Snow” here. Unlike in the north it’s not near as cold, so our snow isn’t fluffy powder snow that is walkable and drivable on. Our “Snow” is a mixture of water, snow, and ice. Therefor it is super slippery. It is heavy due to water being in it so tree branches fall and power lines go out. Our roads literally freeze over and there is black ice. We don’t have the materials and knowledge to safely deal with it. It may seem silly to people who are used to it but for us it’s something odd. ❄️

@peoplecallmesatan yep. I hate the snow for that reason. Then it'll snow on top of the frozen road and then freeze. I think I ended up missing like 6 days of work last year. I always hope for no snow no snow! Lol

@peoplecallmesatan okay, so I do like that, too, but it's not worth the stress of is work canceled? Is this going to be a pto day? And then when my boss doesn't close the office early enough and I'm driving 40 minutes, which turns in to 4 hours on sketch slippery highways....ill pass. But I do love making the snowmen and such. Lol :]
