Why can't they wear a coat?xx

Apparently the thickness of the coat loosens the traps xx @mckenziesmummy

@chesscalouise2, Aweh does it I never knew about this, or got told. Kenzie wears a coat when he goes in his car seat.
I don't drive so he only goes in a car once a week really to the next estate over when he's up his Nan's but I never knew that!! Feel shitty now!😩🙄xx
K·
I never new it either @mckenziesmummy xx

@chesscalouise2, oh gosh!😔 can't believe it! Xx

@chesscalouise2 @mckenziesmummy it only really applies to puffy coats in a car seat in a car as if in a crash the straps will flatten the coat and the child will be flung forward against the straps. (Does that make sense??) I wasnt aware about it until i saw a post on Facebook

I've been putting a little thin rain coat on my little one or a cardigan. X

@kayteamay, Aweh really thanks for telling me, and they should make it more aware!xx
K·
They definitely should make people more aware x

I never do just jumper or cardigan, then blanket on if needed! It usually warms up pretty quickly in the car so it's not really needed xx
