My husband’s sister and her husband are very outspoken atheists. They complain all through November and December about how much they hate everything about Christmas but they still want everyone to buy them presents every year. That seems very hypocritical to me. I don’t like being forced to buy someone a gift anyway. All the adults in his family want gift cards so we are literally just exchanging money. I don’t see the point. In my family you only buy gifts for people if you really want to and you happen to find something you know that person will like. There is no pressure and the gift has meaning. If you don’t know the person well enough to buy them a gift without asking what they want then you don’t buy the gift. And my husband wants Santa to bring all of the gifts! Uh no Santa didn’t work hard to put a smile on their face i did so no. I’m getting the hug for that dinosaur thank you very much
