So today hubby and I tried to go get my nose pierced for me because my birthday is in 12 days (we’re the same sign) his birthday is today BUT I wasn’t able to get my piercing because I’m pregnant and the shop we went too doesn’t pierce anything while a woman is pregnant is a nose piercing not safe or something?I know all other piercing aren’t except for tongue,lip,and eyebrow

I’m not a piercing artist so I don’t know if I’m right lol but I think they don’t because they don’t want to chance putting your body under any stress, it would be a liability thing I’m thinking.

I grew up around piercers. It is the chance for infection and the fact that during pregnancy your immune system is compromised and your piercing won't heal correctly anyway. I'm glad they said no, no reputable shop will pierce a pregnant woman if they are aware. Happy Birthday! Sorry your plans didn't work out so great, but it's for the best!
