Wanted to have a friend over, husband said no cause the house is a mess. It's not even a mess and it's not like he ever does anything to help the situation... So now I have to suffer because the house isn't "clean" 😭 I haven't seen anyone except his family in 5 weeks.

@skysmommy04, no, I guess I said that wrong. He was leaving from lunch and I told him that I was going to have a friend over and he goes "are you serious? No.. come on the house is a mess" and I'm taking care of a baby so I'm not going to start scrubbing the place down for a friend to come for an hour.

Whoever ur inviting over probably knows u just had a baby so they shouldn’t expect a completely “kept” house. Some men don’t understand that adult company and conversation is NEEDED after you have a baby. I kno I did! Ur an adult right? Have ur company girl lol.

@madukes, exactly! No one cares about the state of the house. They just wanna see the baby anyway. I just can't wait to get back to work. I love my baby, but I really miss talking to other adults. I feel so stuck in one spot.

@princessrose, do what you NEED to do. They dont get it sometimes and my husband is tha BEST! He was right there every step of the way....still is! But there wer some things he didnt get.
