For the moms that put their baby (NOT toddler) in a daycare, how was your experience?
@nomli I should definitely start looking now then.. do they really have daycares where they expect u to call first?
@dinamarie2604, you're welcome! Research is the best thing to do! And try and find a place that let's you drop in any time of day to see your little one without notice...then you'll get to see them in action when they aren't expecting you. Just don't wait to long to pick one....many have waiting lists for infants.
@dinamarie2604 You are welcome! It defiantly is very scary at first but if you find the right one it should ease your mind a little bit and be less scary!!
@keelygeedy @fasciamom @nomli @eaj8290 Thanks ladiess.. 😊😊😊 I'm a little paranoid about putting a baby in a daycare but I will do some research.. Going to wait maybe another month or 2 to put my lil man in one..
@dinamarie2604 my daughter went into day care starting at 7 weeks when I returned back to work. I personally had no issues with it so far. However before signing her up I did google reviews on them to see what other people had to say, went and visited the place and staff working there, and asked other moms about the people there and the place in general. Even though it is more expensive for a newborn then a toddler it made it very helpful and was defiantly well worth it!
I don't have personal experience, but my nephew has been in daycare since 12 weeks or so and they all love it. My sister did a lot of research beforehand, and visited the place too. They're one of the daycares that update you throughout the day with pictures and notifications on when baby ate, slept, pooped, etc.
So far so good! My daughter has been in day care since she was 3 months. The woman who runs it absolutely adores her and my daughter is very well taken care of.
