Trying to explain to my fiance that you can't spoil a newborn because he's irritated that I won't just let him cry and this is our conversation-
Me: You can't spoil a newborn.
Him: But you're giving him everything he wants.
Me: All he wants is to be close to someone and not feel alone.
Him: Well how do you know you aren't spoiling him?
Me: I've read up on a lot of stuff while I was pregnant.
Him: Send me the links then.
Me: *Sends him links*
Him: *Doesn't even open link* Well either way we have different parenting techniques.
No, you're just stupid 🙃

The best way to think of it is that baby was just taken away from being constantly connected to you, his life source to now being out in the world having to now cry to get what he needs. Just tell your man he will start to get used to being on his own. Just takes time after being attached for 10 months 😊
There are a ton reason against cry it out especially when there only 2 weeks old. I didn't even try to make Taylor cry it out til she 6-7months. And when they are this little they are normally just wanting feed or need changed lol.
