So I have literally nobody to watch my son while I go to interviews but my MIL and this was her response when I asked her to watch Jayden .. like 1 hr tops .. she just annoyed me 🤦🏼♀️ if I’m applying for daycares do you think it would be unprofessional to ask to bring Jayden? Since I plan on enrolling him anyway if I get the job ?

@mrsgoulding, i mean he gets upset if he’s not with me or his dad but give him like 5 mins and he will get over it like I don’t understand 🤦🏼♀️ & yea I hope that’s the case with me .. I’ll just explain my situation and hope for the best I guess 😭

I was just gonna say the same thing lol 5 month old shouldnt be that hard to distract, and kids feel the energy she probably just doesn’t want to have him he feels that and thats why he is flipping out on her . I hope everything goes well i wish u lots of luck

Wow. That makes no sense. Of course he does that, he's not used to her, the only way to prevent that is for her to spend more time with him, like for instance baby sitting him. Like everyone said. It's not hard to distract a 5 month old. It sounds like she's just making up excuses.

I can’t believe she’s having such a hard time calming him down. Usually babies that age you can distract easily. Maybe she’s not trying hard enough and just doesn’t want to watch him.

That’s so crazy! He is a baby. She could bundle him up and go for a walk if he is fussy. I have two boys of my own and I watch my nephew often if they need a sitter and he is a baby. It’s not hard to entertain a baby.
