Are you breastfeeding?
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 yes

You may have mastitis or clogged ducts. Are you pumping or nursing?
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 both, when she's not on the boob I pump
Deleted·
pumping can cause both those problems. You should only breastfed the first 4 to 6 weeks to regulate supply.
Deleted·
If your nursing , no need to pump.
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 they get engorged an hurt too much I have to get it out
Deleted·
I understand but that is making your produce more milk and doesn't help. You can self express for comfort purposes but if you continue to pump heavy then your breasts will continue to fill and cause infection
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 ya I don't want that
Deleted·
Yeah. don't pump. Let baby nurse around the clock. Wake her if you have to but avoid pumping. it is just gonna make it worse for you.
Deleted·
I know it is hard but i just took a hot shower and self expressed and it is much better.
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 I'm still learning and adopting to an this but I don't want an infection where it affects her
Ashley·
@beemommyof3 self expressed?
Deleted·
The infection won't affect her. You can breastfeed through them both.

Ashley·
@beemommyof3 o that's what it's called, I've done it before
Deleted·
Yes. But only for comfort. Don't overdo it. I woke baby every 2 hours

@prtybrowneyez, when you feel boobs heavy wake up baby so she can nurse, I would definitely do that.
