Should I feed him every 2-3 hours or only when he’s hungry? Just curious on personal opinions.

Breastfeeding: whenever, as much as possible.

Bottle: every 2h+

I feed mine closer to 3 hrs

Whenever they show they're hungry. My daughter is bottle feed breast milk but she still shows me when she's hungry. She sticks out her tongue and sucks on her fist.

Also until they gain back their birth weight you wanna make sure they don't go longer than I believe 3 hours without eating.

Feed on demand. But in the first few weeks , my son slept ALOT and wouldnt wake up to eat. I would have to wake him up every 2 hours to get him to eat something. But after awhile they grow out of that and I’ve been feeding on demand. Sometimes he’ll eat every 2 hours, sometimes every 4 hours.

@starwars-mom, that’s my current dilemma. My son sleeps so much and never wakes up when it’s time to feed him. Instead, he’ll go a few hours without eating then breastfeed for over an hour.🤦🏽‍♀️
